Two computers with BitTorrent, should I open one or two ports?
I have bittorrent on two computers, I need to know if I should create a separate port for each bittorrent or just run them both though the same port? Im not sure if sharing the same port will affect the speed.. Thanks
Each MUST use a different port.
Port forwarding can't forward the same port to different machines.
Running your client on all machines splits your connection that many more ways, slowing all instances down. If you use something like utorrent with Local Peer Discovery on, the computers should detect each other and share with each other
