It's really a great macbook pro. The case is solid, the keyboard is excellent, the design is excellent. I Mac before the PC at work and at home, and I always thought that MAC is expensive. But after buying it I think is really worthwhile. I was thinking of buying the first 15 "one but that one is one too large and too expensive is the better deal with another i7 is expensive for the improvement of the minimum processor speed.

Does anyone know what a "PCI Ultra ATA 66" does?
I bought a junker which works fine, but I don't know what this card does.
It's an expansion card that is inserted into an available PCI slot, that gives you (more) PATA/ATA/IDE ports. Older hard drives, and most optical drives use these connectors, however, 66 would indicate that it's quite old and only uses a 66MHz bus speed. ATA 100 is the "latest" ata connector, however, ATA itself is quite outdated. Most newer computers use SATA or Serial ATA, rather than this older standard, Parallel ATA (PATA).
If you wanted to, you could probably use it to add an additional PATA/IDE hard drive. This card may have additional functions, but you provided some standards, not a particular model. It MAY have RAID capabilities on it, but if you're using a machine that has this card, you're probably not worried about RAID performance or functionality, so it's somewhat irrelevant.
