i have win xp sp2. the laptop is wireless, connected to the router in another room. i connected the Ethernet cable that comes with the xbox to the laptop. i want to use the laptop wireless internet to use xbox live and transfer music and videos. i tried to share the connection. but i only have the option (tick box) to share internet in the network LAN adapter, and this option does not appear in the advanced tab of the wirless connection (i have only the option of firewall onoff). i turned off the firewall. tried also to bridge, also doesn't work. the xbox detects the wired connection to the laptop, but it doesnt get an ip address. i think the problem is i dont have the check box of internet sharing in the wireless network adapter properties, i dont know how to have this box to appear.
