Nothing shows up on my computer screen (i've done some troubleshooting)?
I opened up my computer to vacuum it (i turned on one of my aftermarket fans, and it started spewing dust balls out the back), but when I put everything back, nothing would show up on the screen when powering on.
I've tested the monitor on other computers, and it works fine. I've tried my video card on other computers, and it also works fine. I've also tried reseating my RAM, with no success.
I'm wondering if I could have vacuumed a jumper or something out, or knocked something loose. (My computer is a Dell Dimension E521. The only modifications from it's original state was the addition of an eSATA PCI card, a 1394 Firewire PCI card, and a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic (SB0460) from another Dell Desktop.
This current setup has worked up until after I tried vacuuming the computer.
Can anyone point me to a potential problem or other things I should do before attempting to flash the BIOS?
