7 And 10 Inch Dell Streak Slate
The Dell Streak has been whispered about in I.T. departments for months now. So today, when an internal Dell announcement of both a 7 and 10 inch Dell Slate was leaked, gasps of joy were heard across every I.T. office and credit counseling office across the nation.
Lineup of Dell Streak
The Dell Streak has been talked about for the last few months. In fact, on March 9, Dell did release a specifications sheet for the Mini 5 - the five-inch Dell Streak. With no ship date and no price, though, it was still just a teaser. The Dell Streak lineup was confirmed this morning as including 7 and 10 inch versions.
Dell Streak included features
The line of Dell Streak computers are true multipurpose tablet computers. With a built-in SIM card and dialer, the Streak 5 will also function as a phone. Amazon and Dell have also penned a content partnership for the Dell Streak computers. This means that the Dell Streak will include a Kindle reader app, MP3 and video streaming from Amazon and a wide rainbow of color choices. A 5 megapixel camera, 30-pin docking connector, touch display, and VGA camera will extend the usability of the Dell Streak.

Though the Dell Streak operating system has not yet been released to the public, most rumors are that it will run on a Windows or Windows-style operating system. A Windows OS would mean that programs and applications could be created by anyone who wanted to hire dedicated programmers.
When will the Dell Streak be available?
Not everything is known about the Dell Streak. A few more months from now, the Dell 7 and 10 will have official ship dates. While some techies may have already gotten a payday cash loan just on the rumor of the Dell Slate, most will probably have to wait until at least the end of the year. In late 2010, the Dell Streak 5 will be available. The Dell Streak 7 and Dell Streak 10 should also be available in "early 2011". The iPad, iPhone, and WePad should watch out!

Dell Axim X3i Network Card Problems?
I have a Dell Axim X3i and it comes with a built in wireless card (Dell TM1200 WLAN Module) but for some reason now it says that it cannot recognize the card in "slot 1" and has me type in the driver. The driver (or so I think) would be "Dell TM1200 WLAN Module" but when I put that in it still does nothing and I cannot even wipe the thing to get it to work again. How can I get it to recognize it's own built in wireless card again?
There is a button on the console that you can push to make the computer do wireless sink.
If you've tried everything, the card may be defective. Dell has really good product warranties. Maybe your device is covered. Check your literature and the website for phone numbers you can call to check on that.
